Welcome to Fall 2015!

Today is the first day of classes for Fall 2015. I would like to welcome all of you to this new semester. Please feel free to browse through my blog. Please visit this blog from time to time for important course updates and notifications of general academic/extra-curricular events.

In addition to the blog, I would maintain Google Classroom from this semester. All the resources, such as, powerpoint slides, project guidelines/files, practice problems, etc. would be available in the Google Classroom. To access Google Classroom you need to get/activate NSU email address which is by default NSUID@northsouth.edu. You must use your northsouth email to get access to the Google Classroom. You would need to use a CODE (which I will share in class) to enrol into your Google Classroom setup. So, you are all requested to get/activate your northsouth.edu email address as soon as possible. Please email me if you face any problem.

Hope you would have a wonderful semester. Please get hold of the text books as soon as possible and start reading! Best of luck for the semester. Thanks.

It is of great pleasure in informing you about ASEF’s next education project for students of North South University.

In conjunction with the 12th ASEM Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (ASEM FFM12), ASEF will organise the ASEF Young Leaders Summit(#ASEFYLS) on the topic of “Entrepreneurship and Youth Employment” from 1-5 November 2015 in Luxembourg. Hosted by the University of Luxembourg and the European Investment Bank, ASEFYLS is for young thinkers and doers between the ages of 18-30 from 51 ASEM member countries. The participants will question and explore how the entrepreneurial vein can trigger and nourish job-creation, mobility and social cohesion in Asia and Europe. Constructive dialogue, hands-on skills development and a Call for Action addressed to the ASEM Foreign Ministers are the core elements of this collaborative and highly intercultural Programme.
